Feedback/Your Comments

At St Michael at Bowes school, we strongly believe that it is vital to have parent’s opinions about our school, so we take every opportunity to gain feedback from them.  One of the many ways we receive this feedback is through questionnaires, as it makes it more accessible and convenient for parents to give their views and supports us in making improvements to our policies and practice. Below are the outcomes of parent questionnaires for the last few years.

Last week Year 6 went on their residential visit to PGL! Our children and staff were amazing; just read the letter below. I am so proud of them all.

Dear Mrs Jay,

I thought it would be amiss of me for not writing to you to pass on my regards to all your children who went to PGL. We had the privilege of sharing our living area with your school and your staff throughout our stay at Windmill Hill. Your teachers were first class. Mr Hunt, Mrs O and Ms G were a credit to St Michael, I was most impressed with their layed back yet firm stance on the children who knew exactly where they stood.

Most importantly though, all the children from your school were fantastic, they gelled with children from Temple Grove Academy and built a rapport with one another over the weekend. Your children were an example to your school and I loved the way they integrated with ours. I was proud of my own children and I was extremely glad that my school –TGA – got to spend time together with yours.

As I conclude, could I just mention your young man, Ya’seen. What a delight he was to talk to!

I wish your children all the very best for the future and I hope our paths cross again at PGL.

Kind regards

Damith Bandara
Assistant Headteacher

Great learning environment! I had an excellent experience with two pupils in 4H and their teacher.
