Super Science Week at SMAB – 3rd – 7th July 2017
We had a fantastic time during our focus week experimenting with ‘Changes’ and carefully recording what took place.
The pupils made their very own ice cream; inflated balloons by mixing the right combination of chemicals together to create gases; caused volcanoes to explode and built weight bearing bridges from paper straws!
Members of the Science pupil team had a visit from a real-life scientist who worked with them to make some chemical reactions with interesting results.
All the pupils had lots of interactive hands on experiences and learnt a lot about the science of change. It was a great week with everyone showing huge amounts of co-operation, respect for eachother and lots of resilience.
