A Nurturing, Inclusive School Where Every Child Can Thrive
We believe every child deserves to feel happy, understood, and successful at school. Our inclusive ethos and strong SEND provision ensure that children with additional needs are not only supported, but celebrated for who they are. We welcome children into a caring environment where learning is tailored, confidence is built, and individual strengths are nurtured.
High-quality, inclusive teaching lies at the heart of everything we do. Our commitment to Quality First Teachingensures that all lessons are thoughtfully planned, engaging, and accessible to every learner, with the right support in place from the very start. Where additional help is needed, our dedicated SEND team works closely with staff, families, and external professionals to create personalised support plans that help each child flourish.
From targeted academic support to emotional and social development, we offer a range of flexible, high-quality interventions. Our sensory room offers a calm, therapeutic space for children who need time to regulate, while our lunchtime Respite Room provides a quieter, structured setting for play, helping children build positive friendships.
Attending St Michael at Bowes means joining a school community where every child is seen, heard, and supported and where all families are welcomed as partners in their child’s journey.
