Young Mathematicians Award
Our mathematicians take part in a yearly competition hosted by Explore Learning. Children had the unique opportunity to work as part of a team to tackle never seen before mathematical problems.
Times Tables Rock Stars
At St Michael at Bowes, we have introduced a fantastic online way to develop knowledge of times tables and division facts for all pupils from Y3 – Y6. Times tables facts are essential to accessing many mathematical concepts and knowledge of these facts will be assessed at the end of Y4, by a National test. Times Table Rock Stars, also known as TT Rock Stars, is a fun and challenging programme designed to help pupils master the times tables!
